Before you begin...


Our application form will take a minimum of 20 minutes to complete and there are 8 steps. We would advise you to have all the information in support of your application ready before you begin, including any qualifications you already have. Please make sure you set enough time aside to complete the application. Once you have finished, please check through the form to ensure it is accurate. Under data protection law, you have the right to be informed (amongst other rights), this means that the College must communicate to you how we process your data, who we share your data with, what your rights are and how long we keep your information for. We collect your personal data as detailed on this form. We share your information with the statutory bodies we are required to report to, e.g. Scottish Funding Council (SFC), Skills Development Scotland (SDS) etc. We are required to collect this information under the Post-16 Education (Scotland) Act 2013 and the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 2005. We only hold your data for the period of time that you study at the College and 5 further years. Following this your information will be destroyed securely, in line with College procedures. This notice includes further details as to how data is processed, who it is shared with, the legal basis for processing and details of all your rights under data protection law and how you can exercise these rights.
